The Gerold Opera House is a unique place to hold your upcoming event! Weddings, Concerts, Movie Screenings, Banquets, Dances, Children's Birthday Parties! The Gerold has recently been renovated and the new layout features round banquet tables and banquet chairs, enough to seat 240. With general seating, over 350 can be accommodated with the balcony. The auditorium also features a full bar and a ba

lcony. Downstairs there are dressing rooms for the bridal and groom’s parties. There is a also an Art Gallery located in the store front which makes and excellent reception area. There is a prep kitchen in the basement for caterers and simple food preparation. DJ service for events also available. You may use the caterer of your choice. We are now booking for 2017 and beyond. The Gerold Opera House is owned and operated by Wega Arts, a non-profit arts organization. All bookings help to maintain the Gerold Opera House. The Weyauwega International Film Festival kicks off Thursday with two documentaries with Wisconsin connections screening at the Gerold Opera House in Weyauwega.

ETERNAL HARVEST - During the Vietnam War the US spent $50 billion to bomb Laos. Only one American—a retired school principal from Wausau, Wisconsin named Jim Harris—works on the ground in Laos to remove old bombs. Screens at 6:30pm. Jim Harris will be there for a Q&A after the film.

LOVE ON HOLIDAY - A music festival in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Filmmaker Chris Opper follows a group of musicians who go through the process of writing, producing and performing a song in one weeks time. Screens at 8pm. Chris Opper will be there for a Q&A after the film.
