Hey everyone! Just wanted to give y’all a little update on the TMT.
We’re almost there! At this point I just have the seat cushion, one accessory the family requested, and the hubcaps left.
I’ve learned so much from this build. It’s definitely made me a better maker, and it’s also shown me just how amazing my Bambu Lab 3D printers really are.
I’m not gonna lie, there were quite a few times I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to finish this thing. I’m still looking at you, seat back cushion. 😂 But I’m going to finish this TMT no matter how many failed prints or reprints it takes.
That flexible TPU seat back has been the toughest part of this whole project. I’ve been messing with it for almost a week now, trying different settings, and I still haven’t found the sweet spot. Then our power decided to go out three different times this weekend and ruined three print attempts. I dried the SUNLU TPU again last night and started another print first thing this morning, so hopefully this one is finally the one.
Everything on this project so far has been printed with SUNLU 3D filament, and I’ve honestly been really impressed with it. The colors look great, and it’s been awesome to work with. For the hubcaps, I’m switching over to some Cookiecad filament because I absolutely love their glitter colors.
If these last few parts cooperate, I’m hoping to have everything wrapped up this weekend.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us through this project. To our friends who donated and helped turn something Heather and I have talked about doing for a long time into something that’s actually happening, thank you. It really means the world to us. This project has definitely been a learning experience, and we’re so thankful the family has been patient with us while we’ve worked through all the challenges.
Thank you to and everyone who has liked, commented, and shared our posts. Every share helps get the word out, and we appreciate every single one of you.
A special thank you to Cindy Marie for everything you’ve done to help us with this build. We couldn’t have done it without your support.
From all of us at 5 Pups Creations Limited, thank you to everyone who has followed along, shared our posts, donated, or simply cheered us on. Every bit of support helps us get closer to helping more families.
I’ll post some pictures in the comments tonight so y’all can see just how close we are to getting this TMT finished!
Thank you again!
Anthony and Heather ❤️❤️❤️
