This summer, our Suzuki students have been performing all over the country—and even around the world! 🌎🎶

While this is just a small glimpse of our students’ adventures, they’ve been making music, performing, learning, and taking part in so many incredible opportunities this summer. We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished! 💕🎻✨

Students:
-Claire Mack, Aurora Gulati and Isabella Munoz-Jaramillo traveled to France with NYS
-Claire D’Souza attended Apple Hill Chamber Music Workshop
-Noah D’Souza attended Suzuki Chamber Camp
-Zoey Horne traveled to Australia with GCTYO, attended French Woods Summer Camp
-Eloise Healy traveled to Australia with GCTYO (principal viola)
-Ever Kingsley and Nora Muldowney traveled to Ireland with FCCC amongst other adventures. She also competed in the Biennial International Competition for Young Guitarists in Germany. Additionally she participated in the John’s Hopkins Peabody Summer Guitar Institute.
-Olivia Mangal gave her Book 5 graduation recital

🎶🐄 Back-to-School Family Music Camp 🐷🦆🐴

As older siblings head back to school, give your little one a special place to learn, play, and grow! 🌿💛

Join us for a gentle, joyful music experience designed for children ages 1–4 and their caregivers. Rooted in Suzuki Early Childhood Education principles, each morning includes:

🎵 Farm-themed songs and movement
🥁 Rhythm play and musical exploration
📖 Storytime
🐐 A guided visit with the farm animals or time to explore the gardens
🎨 A simple craft and snack
It's the perfect way to ease into the school year while building confidence, connection, and a love of music in the peaceful beauty of the farm.

⭐Student News ⭐

AJ Engel (back right), flute student of Ms. Leslie and guitar student of Mr. Scott, and his 3 teammates won First Place in the Under 17 (U17) quadruple sculls (4X) A Finals against teams from all over the US during the US Rowing Youth National Championships. Henry Engel, alum piano student, placed 7th in the B Finals of the Mens Youth 4 at the same competition.

Trisha Srikanth (bottom with red bow), violin student in Vivace, and her team placed 4th in the Women's U17 4x B Finals at the US Rowing Youth National Championship in Sarasota, Florida last month. Overall, her team placed 12th in the nation. Brava Trisha!

⭐ Student News ⭐

Each year, the Dorothy Straub and Robert Genualdi Scholarship awards $1,000 to students who are committed to continuing their music education in high school or college. Scholarships are granted based on financial need, musical achievement, and a demonstrated dedication to enriching the community through music.

We are pleased to announce that one of this year's two recipients is Claire D'Souza, violin. She is a student of Dr. Andrew Smith and studied with Ms. Jerilyne Arslanagic on the Westport Campus. Brava Claire!

Experience the magic of our Over the Meadow Themed Family Music Camp this summer July 7th-10th! 🌷🎶

Family Camp is a playful, theme-based music experience for toddlers and preschoolers and their caregivers to enjoy together. Through singing, movement, story time, crafts, and simple hands-on musical activities, families explore each week’s theme in a relaxed, social setting designed for shared discovery and joy.

Inspired by “Over in the Meadow,” this session brings animals, rhythm, and counting to life through songs, books, creative projects, and interactive musical play. This themed summer experience is separate from our weekly Suzuki Early Childhood Education Program and is designed as a fresh, engaging introduction for new families while continuing to support those already enrolled. Infant siblings are welcome, and activities are thoughtfully planned to accommodate a range of ages participating side by side.

⭐Ages 1–4 (with caregiver; infant siblings welcome at no charge)
⭐Schedule: Tuesday – Friday: 10:00am – 11:30am
