2026 WAG Scholarship Winners announced: Emma Nataly (Westport High) and Jameson Schreiner (Tiverton High)!! Each will receive $3,000 to pursue an education in the visual arts. Emma will be pursuing architecture at Wentworth Institute and Jameson will be pursuing illustration at the University of Rhode Island. Congratulations to both Emma and Jameson!

Champagne Reception TODAY 5 - 7 PM. No, this lovely woman and former WAG President did not hang this year's exhibit and you won't need a stole to keep you warm today (it may hit 80 degrees and we have air conditioning!). But we do thank all our volunteers who hung the special 70th show and gallery sitters too. Volunteers are so important to WAG!! Hope you plan to come to the reception tonight!

WAG 70th anniversary opens Thursday, June 4, 1-5 with a Champagne reception Fri, June 5, 5-7! A shout out to these 4 women who had a GREAT idea. Do you know who they are? These are the 4 founders of the Westport Art Group - (l-r) Alice Danhauser, Dorothy Gifford (later Curtis), Helen Wilkinson and Ethel Gifford. We owe them a great deal for getting us started. Hurray to them! Be sure to join us at the 70th anniversary events.
