I have been down and haven’t been able to work on my art. But I’m going to try today. I’ve been so antsy after breaking my knee and trying to help with some housework around here actually almost put me back into the hospital because I lost my balance and fell again. Dr did say don’t bend that knee/leg. So I didn’t. I fell straight legged losing my balance hit my left wrist and arm on something and my forehead on something too. So a bump on the head and cuts the n my wrist.

UPDATE:

Surgery went well. Swollen and hurting but was able to put a little bit of weight on it now. Starting to walk with a walker today. I’ll try to advance little more and more each day for 10 -12 weeks until the patella grows back together.

Fixed patella.

UPDATE: surgery on Friday! I should be able to start walking on it right after surgery but can’t bend it, so straight leg walk. We will start naming my new walk the Reagan walk. 😉

Just wanna inform everyone that I’m sure I’ll be working on some stuff soon. I’m a little laid up right now. I had an accident, slipped and fell at my favorite farm store walking in during a bad down pour. I’ll be ok I believe. But I fractured my patellar in several places. I see the orthopedic surgeon today and we’ll see what future lines up for me today. Surgery?,physical therapy, healing time and learning how to walk all over again?. I’m in good spirits and my husband has been wonderful and my neighbors/friends too. We moved permanently to Colorado last December. Working hard to get our farm going and my new wood burning office and my husbands garage. We were just bout done with the barn but we ran out of screws so we were going into my favorite farm store to get some. And now here I am stuck in a chair with leg propped.

I finished and gave to Michael and Amy this afternoon. I believe they like it.
