Now that the Best Week of the Summer has officially come to an end, we would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended the Carroll County 4-H & FFA Fair! ❤️

Whether you visited to admire our exhibitors’ outstanding entries, enjoy the entertainment, cheer on our youth, bid on a delicious baked item, or support our exhibitors by purchasing an animal at the auction — we truly appreciate your support. 🐄🐖🐑🎂👏

Our Fair is extremely fortunate to have such a strong, generous, and supportive community behind it. Your support means a great deal to our exhibitors, volunteers, leaders, and everyone who works tirelessly to make the Fair possible each year.

Our thoughts continue to be with the driver injured during the August 8 Demolition Derby. We’re grateful to share that he’s recovering well and taking the time he needs to rest. He and his family are deeply appreciative of everyone who has reached out with messages of concern and support — it has meant a great deal to them.

We also want to thank the Pleasant Valley, Taneytown, and Westminster firefighters and EMS volunteers for their quick response and teamwork that night.

The safety of our drivers, our spectators, and everyone involved in our events is always a top priority for us. Moments like this remind us how important that commitment is, and how fortunate we are to have such dedicated emergency personnel supporting our community.
