Just wanted to do a little shout out to
“The Krogh’s Nest Antiques” Shop in Taneytown, MD. Open most Saturdays from 9-5. It’s located at 205 E. Baltimore St.
The owner, Hans has created an antique shop inside the old train ticket depot, which he and his wife purchased and moved many years ago, saving the building. The building alone is worth a peek with the original interior, ticket window and wood.
He sells antiques and vintage items as well as hand made bags he makes from vintage Turkish rugs. There is a small amount of jewelry and clothes as well.
Hans used to have an upholstery business and still shows off his skills in his refurbished furniture and bags. Below are a few pictures I took of the shop and his workroom. Check it out sometime! For folks in Frederick, Hans also has a spot at the Emporium Antiques shop at 112 E. Patrick St.

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of when my Volunteer,and now friend, Debbie Zink has been helping me at “Off The Rails”! She has been a huge blessing to me and was sent to me straight from heaven! Thank you Deb for all the unpaid hours of pricing inventory, putting up with my chaos, and shenanigans! We do have fun though!Cheers to more time spent with you in the days to come!
