Gracie-s.com Summer Win an Antique Violin Contest (July, August, and September)
The purpose of Gracie-s.com’s Summer Antique Violins Wining Contest is to encourage violin students (No Professional Violinists, please) to practice diligently throughout the summer. Participating is easy!
1. Submit a Performance Video
Record a video clip of your best repertoire, post it on Facebook or Instagram, and tag both Dinh Minh and Gracie’s Fine Violins - VN.
2. Submission Deadlines
Please submit your clips by:
• July 15 for the July 20 result announcement
• August 15 for the August 20 result announcement
• September 15 for the September 20 result announcement
3. Selection Process
Dinh Minh and other Gracie-s.com’s violinists will select the five best clips based on technical proficiency and musical expression.
Among those five finalists, the clip that receives the highest number of likes and/or overall engagement during that month will win one of the three antique violins.
4. Monthly Entries
You may submit one new video each month (July, August, and September), featuring a different repertoire.
Winners will not be eligible to participate in the following month’s competition.
5. Eligibility
All participants must currently play on a 3/4-size or full-size violin, as all prize instruments are full-size violins.
6. Prize Award Verification
The winner must visit Gracie-s.com Fine Violins’ recording studio to receive the prize violin. At that time, the winner must perform either the same repertoire submitted for the contest or another piece of comparable technical difficulty to verify the authenticity of the submitted video.
