As we welcome a new academic year, I want to take a moment to recognize the truly exceptional faculty and staff of our Nursing Department.
Over the past two weeks, I have watched this team return to campus with energy, dedication, and a genuine commitment to student success. Long before the first day of class, they have been hard at work preparing courses, updating materials, planning clinical experiences, coordinating schedules, and making sure everything is in place for our students.
What makes this group so special is not just their expertise, though they bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the classroom. It is their unwavering commitment to caring, teaching, mentoring, and supporting the next generation of nurses. They invest their hearts into this work every single day.
I am incredibly grateful for each member of our team and proud to work alongside such talented, compassionate professionals. Our students are truly fortunate to learn from faculty and staff who are dedicated not only to academic excellence, but also to helping them grow into confident, competent, and caring healthcare professionals.
Thank you to our Nursing Department faculty and staff for all that you do. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is seen in every student you inspire and every future nurse you help prepare for the profession.
