New Paradigm Dance Theater- Youth & Adult Dance Companies- valuing vulnerability & artistic pathways.

New Paradigm Dance Theater develops creative artists and thinkers of the future by creating an artistic environment where dancers and choreographers can be vulnerable, question and break assumptions, and focus on creating their own pathway to artistry. Our vision for New Paradigm is to have separate productions/programs for both youth and adult companies with opportunities to collaborate together.

We would love to have the ability to learn with and from each other to deepen our community connection and love for dance. Co-Artistic Directors Julia Wilkinson Manley & Chris Harris have extensive experience directing both adult productions and student performance companies. New Paradigm Dance Theater will combine professionalism with a safe, non-judgmental, dancer-based focus. Fostering artistic expression, vulnerability, and creativity, our goal is to create beautiful, intellectually stimulating and enjoyable art to bring our audiences along with us in our explorations.

Nutcracker Camp Recap! 🍄 The cutest Mushrooms & Acorns got to learn real choreography from NPDT's Nutcracker Reimagined this weekend! They also got to see some of the costumes from the story and watch the Flowers rehearsal! 🌷

Dancers ages 3-8 are eligible to perform in NPDT's Nutcracker Reimagined as Mushrooms and Acorns! Casting is based on level placement at Colorado Movement Lab. Contact CML to get started at [email protected]!

Calling all kiddos ages 3-8! Almost time for Nutcracker Camp! 🐿️🍄

Saturday, September 5 from 2:30-4:30pm at Colorado Movement Lab
Kids will learn real choreography from NPDT's 'Nutcracker Reimagined' - the Acorn and Mushroom dance!

This day camp includes:
-Intro to Ballet
-Move and Learn about Colorado flora and fauna
-Tutu & costume petting zoo
Just $15 per kid! Or $25 for 2 family members signing up together.

Kids are eligible to perform in NPDT's Nutcracker Reimagined this December! Featuring the dancers of Colorado Movement Lab.

NPDT is thrilled to announce we have received our first grant from the Broomfield Community Foundation! We are so grateful to be able to continue our important work in Broomfield and at Bal Swan Children’s Center!

This grant supports:
- NPDT's Broomfield Dance Programming at Bal Swan Children's Center, including in-school and after school programming. These programs will offer adaptive, developmentally-appropriate dance classes which focus on creative movement, essential motor skills, and imagination games.
- Bal Swan Children's Center students will have the opportunity to perform onstage in NPDT's 'Nutcracker Reimagined' in December!
- NPDT's Empower Dance Company - For teens & adults with special needs. This grant will help to support their weekly rehearsals, performances of 'Nutcracker Reimagined,' in-community performances, and NPDT's spring concert in May of 2027.
