Scott Low is a Southern songwriter with a bluesman's heart, a folk singer’s storytelling, and a river guide’s patience. Winner of the 2025 Atlanta Blues Challenge his most recent albums—Struttin’ Round Town (2025) and The Appalachian Blues (2024)—dig deep into the soul of the rural South, blending gritty guitar work, slow-burn vocals, and road-worn lyricism. From swaggering blues-rock grooves to stripped-down acoustic confessionals, these records trace a life shaped by heartbreak, resilience, and the crooked backroads of Appalachia.
Opening for Scott we will have the Modern Mammals, known for their genre-blending indie sound, playfully weaving together blues, jazz, reggae, and rock into a groovy live experience. Their rhythm-driven songs and unmistakable chemistry have made them a Briar Patch favorite. In April 2026, they released their second full-length album, TOBY, continuing to develop their unique identity of catchy and rhythm based tunes.
Kicking off the night, The Benny Hagerty Band is a Greenville, South Carolina-based Americana group blending folk and blues-inspired songwriting with the sound of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fronted by singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist Benny Hagerty. Following the February 2026 release of Hagerty’s debut album, Hills & Highways, the band has performed throughout the South Carolina Upstate and across North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, earning a reputation for authentic storytelling and engaging live performances with a sound rooted in folk, country, bluegrass, and blues traditions while delivering a fresh, energetic approach to modern Americana music.
