While I’ve been in the middle of moving to a different town, and been little quiet on social media, I want to take the time and do this 2013-2016 trend.

That season was one of the hardest chapters of my life. I didn’t have much, but my heart was full. Full of people who genuinely wanted to see each other thrive and win. We showed up for each other. If someone needed help, someone else was already on the way, without hesitation. Money wasn't at the center of our relationships it was just the honest love for each other to be ok.

I miss that deeply.

As I get older, it feels harder to find that same caliber of connection. That reciprocity between relationships. Back then, less social media meant more presence. More conversations, more shared meals, more “I’ve got you” without having to ask, even if that meant putting it in the only $300 limit credit card.

We didn’t have much, just a bunch of flip phones, a nyc physical map and crazy dreams, but most importantly, we had each other. And that was everything. ❤️

Also, we played this song on repeat almost everyday and it's the only song I have on my iTunes that I bought.

Cheers to this era.
