I'm excited to share this year's Pride painting. Just like the last five years, I will donate all proceeds to Trinity Haven Indy, a local agency that provides safe, affirming transitional housing to LGBTQ youth experiencing housing instability.

This new piece was inspired by my daughter Polly's experience in an upcoming production of The Secret Garden. I love seeing the joy performing is bringing out in her and her experience in this production so far has been really special. The Site of Memory, mixed media on canvas, 16" x 20"
This is a first of its kind collaboration with my talented sister . Alison began the piece by creating a collage on canvas, and then I used her work to inspire the subsequent layers of paint, ink, and oil pastel, attempting to complete the narrative her collage set in motion. I think the final product is a real synthesis of our artistic voices and our shared history.

Really a wonderful experience collaborating on this -- I hope you enjoy the finished product!
