Last but not least, our choir president Kiran Patel will be attending Rutgers with a major in Biology! He has been a part of choir leadership for 3 years and has been Choir Historian, on the Christmas tree pickup chair and the president. He has participated in mixed chorus, concert choir, Chorale Choraleers, Men’s chorus, Rising Voices and he has participated in Region choir for 4 years, and All state choir for 2 years! Kiran will miss sight reading everyday in class and doing photography for every fun choir event! Congrats Kiran!

Our next Senior Spotlight is Valentina Ciucci! She will be attending Sacred Heart University for secondary education in English and double majoring in musical theater. She has been a member of the choir for 4 years, and serving on the choir leadership council for 3 years. This year, she was the Choir Vice President. She has participated in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Chorale/Choraleers, BDT, Rising Voices, All State choir, Region choir, and Church choir. She will miss creating an inclusive environment to grow and having fun with all of her best friends!

Next for Senior Spotlight is Kelsey Dix! She will be attending Syracuse University with a major in journalism. She has been in choir for 4 years, and on the choir leadership council for 3 years. She has been a Choir Social Media Manager for all 3 years in leadership, and this year, she has served as a Secretary/Treasurer on the leadership executive board. She was also the Student Director of Rising Voices. She has been in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert choir, Chorale/Choraleers, BDT, Rising Voices, All-State choir, and Region choir. She will miss the Spain trip with the choir and singing with her best friends.

Our next Senior Spotlight is Emily Tessitore! She will be attending The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in speech, language, & hearing sciences. She has been a member of the Choir Leadership council for 3 years. Her junior year, she was a Choir librarian and head of NOLS, and this year she has served as a Secretary/Treasurer on the Choir Leadership board. She was also a Rising Voices mentor. She has been in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, BDT, All-State Mixed Choir 2024 & 2025, and Regions Mixed Choir 2024. She will miss Exec Board Meetings and competing in the National Jazz Festival with the Choraleers!

Our next senior spotlight is Joshua Carlson! In the fall Josh will be attending Stevens Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Science and Cybersecurity. He has been in choir for four years and has participated in Mixed choir, Concert choir, and Men’s chorus. Josh will miss our performance in Carnegie Hall and all of his favorite moments of Sophomore year. Congrats, Josh!

Our next senior spotlight is Madeleine Smith! She will be attending the University of Wisconsin with a major in psychology in the fall! Maddy has been in choir for four years, classes include Mixed Choir, Treble Chorus, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, and she has performed in the Mixed All State choir for two years. She has been a part of choir leadership for 3 years and her favorite memories are choir thanksgiving and singing Man or Muppet with Valentina! 🎓

Our next Senior Spotlight is Lily Erneta! She will be attending Wagner College and majoring in theater performance in the fall. She has been a member of the choir for 4 years, and on the choir leadership council for 2 years. This year, she was a BDT leader. She has participated in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert choir, Chorale/Choraleers, BDT, and Rising Voices. Our next senior spotlight is Mark D’Angelo! He will be attending Loyola University, with a major in Marketing. He has been an active member of choir for 4 years, and on the choir leadership council for 3 years. He has participated in Mixed Choir, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, Men’s Chorus, Rising Voices, Region Choir, and All-State Choir. His favorite choir memory was winning the annual Roxbury Festival with the Choraleers in 2025 and then the National Jazz Festival in 2026.

Next for our Senior Spotlight is Sarina Sherman! In the fall, Sarina will be attending Syracuse University with a major in Political Science. She has been in choir for all 4 years of high school and has participated in many choirs including: Mixed Chorus, Treble Chorus, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, and Blue Devil Treble. Her favorite choir memories were singing Tchaka with Concert Choir last year because it was so much fun and everyone was so into it. She also loved winning 1st place at the NJF with Choraleers!
