Next for our Senior Spotlight is Sarina Sherman! In the fall, Sarina will be attending Syracuse University with a major in Political Science. She has been in choir for all 4 years of high school and has participated in many choirs including: Mixed Chorus, Treble Chorus, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, and Blue Devil Treble. Her favorite choir memories were singing Tchaka with Concert Choir last year because it was so much fun and everyone was so into it. She also loved winning 1st place at the NJF with Choraleers!

Next up for our Senior Spotlight is Lea Turetsky! She is very excited to be attending Colby College in the fall. She has been a member of choir for 4 years, and a member of choir leadership for 3 years. She has participated in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert choir, Blue Devil Treble, and Region choir. Next for Senior Spotlight is Francesca Hamrah! She will be attending Sacred Heart University with a major in psychology and a minor in criminology. She has been a member of the choir for 4 years, and on the Choir leadership council for 3, serving as Concert Choir manager. She has been in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert choir, Chorale/Choraleers, and BDT. Her favorite choir memory is walking and singing through Spain with all of her best friends. Next up for our senior spotlight is Autumn Harper! Autumn will be attending the College of Charleston, and she will be double majoring in Dance and Business. She has been a member of the choir department for 4 years, and a member of choir leadership for 2 years, this year serving as a Choir Librarian. She has participated in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert choir, and Chorale/Choraleers. She will miss seeing her best friends in choir class everyday and she will especially miss randomly singing her past choir songs in school! Congrats Autumn!

Our next Senior Spotlight is Sophia Rodkin! Sophia will be attending Emory University in the fall studying English and Political Science. She has been in choir for all 4 years and in Choir Leadership for 3. Throughout all 4 years she has participated in Mixed chorus, Treble chorus, Concert Choir, and BDT. She is also a Blue Devil Treble leader this year! Sophia will miss the BDT rehearsals most and has made so many memories teaching all of the underclassmen! Congrats Sophia! 🎓

Third for Senior Spotlight is Mia Nuzzo! In the fall, she will be studying environmental science at the University of Michigan. She has been a member of the choir department for 4 years, and she has participated in leadership for 3 years. This year, she was a BDT leader. She was in Mixed choir, Treble choir, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, Blue Devil Treble, All-State Choir, and Region Choir. She will miss Monday night BDT rehearsals. Congrats, Mia! 🎓

Our next Senior Spotlight is Micheal Cuomo! Micheal will be studying Diesel technology at Lincoln Tech in the fall. He has been an active member of the choir community for all 4 years! His classes and extra choirs include, Mixed chorus, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, rising voices, and men’s chorus! Micheal’s favorite memory from choir is from his sophomore year, when 10-12 graders went to Spain. It was breathtaking being able to sing in the cathedral with close friends, an experience unlike any other. He loved the music they sang, the people in the choir, and the places they got to sing at. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that he got to experience with good friends and he will never forget it! Congrats, Micheal!!

First up for the Senior Spotlight is Hana Forbes! She is going to New York University and she is majoring in Liberal studies on the International affairs track. She has been in choir for 4 years, and she has served on the choir leadership council for 2 years. This year, she was a choir librarian and she co-hosted Night of Love Songs. She has participated in many choirs during her time in the department, including Mixed Chorus, Treble Chorus, Concert Choir, Chorale/Choraleers, Blue Devil Treble, All-State choir, Region choir, and All Eastern choir. Her favorite choir memory was when she co-hosted Night of Love songs, and she will miss spending 2 periods back to back with her best friends. Congrats, Hana! 🎓
