Musical Motivations

Musical Motivations We offer music lessons on piano, keyboards, guitar, drums and vocals. Students are a part of their instruction and can choose songs they like.

All styles are taught and students receive instruction on the basics of good technique and musicality as well as more innovative methods. We offer:

Private lessons:
Group lessons
A combination of both private and group. Band lessons where students learn as a band or group how to interact and work with each other. We will also have performances at various local venues. We offer a unique 'Keyboa

rd Orchestra' format where students work with other students on their lessons and as a group. We will have in-class performances to move up various levels and keep them motivated. (See the web site for more information). We have a special story based curriculum for younger children that keeps them interested and motivated! (See Cara the Cat above)

We offer the Broadway style for piano accompaniment and vocal coaching. Students can work on their audition "book" to get a leg up on the competition! We sell sheet music and supplies like picks, straps, trumpet oil, lights,and books. We also sell instruments like guitars, keyboards and drums. You can also download sheet music from the web site. Hi, I am launching my new children's book: "The Case of the Hidden Treasure!" It is a novel that uses animal characters to teach musical terms, notes, etc.

It is an accompaniment to a method book "Cara and Donny's Musical Adventure" which uses the same characters to teach the piano or other instruments.

In the method book, the notes are represented by the characters (Cara the Cat, Donny the Dog, etc.)

They have adventures and meet new characters (notes) along the way.

It has a storyline instead of the individual scenes that most method books use and the students are excited about learning the new characters.
Like this page and recommend it to those who have young children (K 3rd grade).
