B & R Chainsaw Sculptures Crowd Shock'n, Wood Rock'n, Show Stopp'n, High Powered, High Performance Chainsaw Art I should let you know a little about myself.

I was raised on a farm in Northwest Iowa and have lived in the area all my life. I am married with one grown daughter and a grandson. I have a full time job, while also helping out on the family farms. I am a self-taught carver, I should say that I am very creative and have a wild imagination. I think I got that from being raised on a farm and from my mom who was an author of many books. I travel all over the country demonstrating my skill/talent.

Well it's over,, today was my last working day at Wells,,I am on vacation then on to retirement!!! This is my last load of milk, the crew helped me celebrate today with a breakfast and a group photo,,lol,, great bunch to end my career with,, it's going to be different for me,, I have driven to LeMars since 1980,, Beef America, then Wells,, a couple years at the coop in akron also,,I am excited for the new adventure for sure,,, it's time,,

Just finished this Hawkeye for the LeMars police department K9 trials later this month for a raffle prize, pretty cool event,,
Well it's fair time already, it will be a little different for me this year, my last working day at Wells will be this Saturday the 18th, my official last punch in punch out will be July 31,, I'm sure it will be a interesting change for me. Scotty, Tayven and I have several fairs this year, Scotty and Tayven just got done carving at the Manona County fair last week, Next for them will be Thursday afternoon July 23 at the Osceola county fair in Sibley, then they will be at he Ida county fair Friday July 24,,all day, they will be doing 8 carvings in one day! Then I will join them for the Plymouth county fair July 29th to August 2,,then we will be at the Woodbury fair August 5 to 8th, after that I will be traveling to Logan Kansas to carve at the Hansen Museum,, I am looking forward to seeing everyone, Also each one of these events have a auction for the carvings we do,,it's a great way to support the fairs,, we get a daily rate for providing the carvings and entertainment. All proceeds from the auction goes to the fair.

I just finished a project for Randy and Rita Houska for there home on the bluffs near Crofton nebraska,, the flying eagle is 7ft, thanks to Tayven and having a lift to get the eagle where we needed it, the project is complete,, it's in a beautiful setting,, I'm glad they had me do it,,

Well, just thought I'd give everyone a update on my summer plan's. I am not going to be at the Platte Creek Store this year carving, I talked to Adam and told him I was going to skip this year, he was good with that and I told him I would be back at it next year,,I have no idea how many years I have been going out there but a lot of years and I will miss seeing my friends I have been lucky to meet out there,, but I will be back,, I am excited to tell everyone that my last day at my job at Wells enterprise will be July 18th, I have been working there for 33 years, I am looking forward to retirement, can't believe I am that old,, I am looking forward to having more time to spend on things I enjoy,, so with that I will keep everyone posted on future events and things that I have been up to,, thanks everyone, God's speed to each and everyone,, Blair
