Explore Movement Dance Company is a Junior Invitational Dance Company created by Jackie Walsh and Janine Barna.

"XMDC" is a professional dance company that works toward inspiring dancers to be expressive, creative, and foster their love for dance.

Senior Spotlight 💫 Erin Raftery
Erin has been dancing for 14 years and has been on the competition team for 9. She is a senior at Westfield High School, participated in cheerleading and track there. Next year she will be attending The University of Delaware to major in marketing.
Best of luck, have a wonderful time in Delaware! We will miss you, Erin!

Senior Spotlight 💫 Mary Hannah Sutcliffe
Mary Hannah has been dancing for 15 years and a competition team member for 13 years and is the XMDC dance captain. She is graduating from Westfield High School. While in high school, she was a member of the National Honors Society for academics, a Varsity Cheerleader for Westfield High School, co-captain and choreographer for the WHS Dance Team and Senior Coach for Westfield PAL Cheerleading as well as a volunteer for NJ Cares and a member of several school clubs. This Fall, Mary Hannah will be attending the University of Miami in the School of Communication and majoring in Media Management with a Minor in Public Relations.

After auditioning this Spring, Mary Hannah was invited to be a member of the Miami Hurricanettes dance team and will be performing this Fall at Hard Rock Stadium during the ‘Canes football season and at halftime during the basketball season.
Good luck in Miami! We will miss you, Mary Hannah!

Senior Spotlight 💫 Brooke Colannino
Brooke has been dancing for 15 years and had been competing for 10 years! She will be graduating from Westfield High School and was a part of National Honors Society. Next year, Brooke will be attending Penn State majoring in criminology.
