We are a conductor-less, strings-only chamber orchestra led by local professional musicians. YPCO invites advancing string players grades 9-12 to participate in two 6 week sessions. During this time they will learn leadership and ensemble skills from our professional section leaders to encourage their musical growth and confidence while introducing them to the vast and rich repertoire for
string orchestras.
Members are accepted exclusively through school or private
teacher nomination.
