2 new moths from me! A little folksy inspired and very mixed media! Come see them tonight in Westerville . Daylight is such a special group of women artists in our community! Twice a year they put on a great juried art exhibition in their space. I am honored, once again, to have been chosen to show my work! Hope you're able to swing by!

I finished up this little cutie commission last night and popped it in the mail this morning! A dear friend wanted a mushroom for her dear friend and of course, I had to make that happen. Swipe --> to see a closer shot including some glass bead accents.

We will be traveling for the Holiday and I'll be leaving all the paint supplies behind. BUT of course, I have some crafty gifts for my boys and their cousins. So there will be !

AND THEN! I'll be back in time to teach WACKY Winter Camp on the 28th! There are still a few spots available. I'll share more info in my stories if you're interested in signing up your kid 👍🏼

The first completed piece from my new paper butterfly and moth series!

Each insect is made from layered newspaper, painted using a Gelli plate, hand cut, embellished and carefully pieced together. It's a very fun process!

This yellow spotted moth is mounted on black and white fabric inside a 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" gold frame.
