Saturday we start setting visual design. It's going to be a great practice. If you have yet to check us out this is a perfect opportunity to get a feel for what indoor winds is all about.

Big final open December camp this Saturday 4pm-8pm. Lots of fun was had by all at our last camp with all the new participants. We will be learning new movement skills and making music at our facility located at the Westerville Community United Church, 770 County Line Rd., Westerville, OH 43081. It is free with no commitment. Twas the night before Christmas,
when all through the church
Not a performer was stirring,
with no vis or music:
The tables all rolled out,
the chairs were set up,
In hopes that St. Nicholas,
might drop in on us:
The members were nestled,
all snug in their beds,
While visions of performing,
danced in their heads.
And Kriss in his ballcap,
and I in my jacket,
Had just settled our brains,
no rehearsal this week jack!
When out in the parking,
arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the Hall,
to see what’s the matter.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh,
eight staff members too,
With a little old driver,
so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles,
his courses they came,
And he whistled, and shouted,
and called them by name:
Now Jordi, now Jonathon,
now Eric and Jake,
On Christopher, On Jon,
On Conner and Daemon!
To the top of the roof,
to the top of the steeple!
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!
As I drew in my head,
and was turning around,
In the front door,
St. Nick came with a bound.
He spoke not a word,
but checked out our work,
He wowed at the concept,
it’s a hit in the works.
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod,
up the rooftop he rose:
He sprang to his sleigh,
to our staff gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim,
ere he drove out of sight.
The Westerville Winds,
you've got it just right.

This weekend we had more new talent participate. Their unique skills they already posses, will let us create moments during our performance this season that will rock the winds world.

We have two more free camps this month on December 16th and 30th. This coming Saturday we will meet again at the Westerville Community United Church of Christ, 770 County Line Rd., Westerville, OH 43081 from 11am-5pm.
