Meet the Presenter
Director/Producer/Founder of LATTE
FELICIA PFLUGER
Presenting:
The Empathy Movement Method – Command the stage. Bring nuance and power to your stage performance! Empower your scene partners like a pro. From breath work to micro expressions.
Felicia founded, developed, and shaped LATTE for 17 years for young adults creatives. With a varied background in theater, dance, song, script, and ghost writing, teaching, teen and elder counseling, life coaching, as well as education, Felicia enjoys empowering these young adult artists in LATTE to challenge themselves. She utilizes her lifetime love of “all things stage” to inspire, having acted, directed, and produced theater for over 30 years, and teaches through master classes around the country.
With lighthearted fun, Felicia uses her acting training program, the Pfluger Empathy Movement Method, to help actresses and actors holistically while accomplishing professional-level theatricality. Building upon the tenets of the method, she incorporates emotional wellness, physiological awareness, collaborative leadership, and empathy-building, which radiates into healthy, sustainable growth, on and off stage.
Felicia utilizes full-length professional stage-works, supporting college and high school students through personal and professional development, all while protecting their psyche and having a lot of fun in the process! We are happy that Mrs. Pfluger is the heart of LATTE.
Also, a Chicago playwright, Felicia’s stage adaptations and works include: 12 Angry Jurors, The Philadelphia Story, Little Women, An Ideal Husband, Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Politically Correct Bedtime Stories, Much Ado About Nothing, and Spoon River Anthology. Her original works include Common Ground, The Porch Light, and Dearest Soldier - Love in War.
