Springtime in the Rockies!! Had to hit the trail. Gibson trailhead is such an easy hop on to the rainbow trail, with old mine tailings and pond to the left and a beautiful valley overlook to the right…. Green is popping out on every tree and colorful birds are everywhere this week!
You can continue for miles in either direction, and access more challenging wilderneess trails close by, but this was my first outing after a knee replacement so just wanted an easy “meander”.
Some snow/rain/moisture coming tomorrow but the weekend forecast looks to be beautiful and sunny again! 🌞🌺🌞 🥾🥾🥾
