Dec 1, 2020: I've been working all summer and fall on a short-n-sweet-but-destined-for-greatness M-F livestream concept called POSTCARDS and I'm happy to say: Here we go, folks! Think Prairie Home Companion meets the International Open Mic meets the Women's Showcase at Blue meets a solo JVW show with YOU on the writing team. Short, sweet, but destined for greatness with special guests, JVW songs,

your postcards, and of course the weather outside the window at Postcards Studio here in Portland, Maine. (Inside the Postcards Studio it's always 70 and sunny, my friends!)

We have a logo, the Postcards Song written by yours truly, a basic format and production set up, and now I'm ready for your encouragement, likes, shares, and especially your POSTCARDS. Well, hey howdy there, good people. It's been a minute!
I'll be on WMPG FM / www.wmpg.org this evening Wed 9/25 7:30pm-8:30pm Eastern.

I'll be joined by wonderful DocSong colleagues, storytellers, and co-writers sharing new collaboratively written music, with roots in South Sudan, DRC, Angola, Gabon, Iran, and of course, for all of us, Maine.

FRIENDS! After a LOT of consideration, I’m officially discontinuing Monday live-streaming which means no show today and no Spring season. I apologize to all my supporters for the short notice.

It was a very hard decision, but it's time to rest, reflect, and branch out. I will be continuing to interview & making short Postcards feature videos and covering events beginning this summer. It's time to evolve and new paths are emerging and beckoning.

Since November 2020, you all have cheered, written postcards, chatted, been on the show, stuff, things, and whatnot! I'm tremendously grateful for your ongoing support and participation.

What does the future hold? Continuing to develop new work and new show ideas. Continuing to evolve as an audio and video producer. Writing, teaching, recording. In other words--stick around!

If we recently talked about getting you on the show, or you recently wrote me a postcard, I will be in touch with you directly.
