My Friday artists explored the world of Paul Cézanne and his approach to still life this week 🎨
Inspired by his work, they created beautiful mixed media pieces—combining color, texture, and composition in their own unique ways.

We’re working with oil pastels and learning about value, light, and depth—but beyond technique, there’s something even more important. Art isn’t just about getting it right; it’s about getting lost in the process. Creating lets the mind slow down, wander, and explore. And the smiles and pride that come from our work only happen when we truly enjoy the journey of making it.
