West Theatre Department is hosting a circus themed KIDS Musical Theatre camp! Incoming 2nd-7th grade boys and girls are invited to join us!

This is a 5 day evening camp with a full performance on Friday for friends and family. Students will get a camp shirt, crafts, 15 hours of musical and theatrical training and so much more!

FINAL performance & SENIOR night!

The 'Shakespeare in Love' cast and crew will take their final bow TONIGHT May 7th at 7pm in the HS auditorium.

Admission will be any size donation towards the theatre Senior Scholarship fund.

Please come support these kids and their fellow cast and crew members one last time as we celebrate the ending of this AWARD WINNING show

‼️ WARNING‼️ You are NOT seeing double!!

But you are seeing a super successful BRING A FRIEND rehearsal! One last fun rehearsal before our final performance TODAY. Watching everyone pour happiness and knowledge into these future Trojan thespians is such an amazing sight to behold. "Legacy. What is a legacy? It's planting seeds in a garden. You may never see."

Tonight is Senior night! Doors open at 6:30, house opens at 6:50 and our show starts at 7pm. Show runs about 40 minutes. Admission is any size donation to our senior scholarship fund.

Teacher Appreciation Week Special Honor: Once again, the NAMM Foundation has named West a “Best Communities” for Music Education.

- West has now received this honor for the 8th time.
- Only 119 school districts in Texas received this honor.
- In Region 12, only Midway, Killeen, Temple, Waco, and West received this honor.

Special thanks to the West ISD Fine Arts Team: Mark Dorsey, Danny Norton, Shelby Kocian, Stephanie Gerath, Jennie Smith, and Kyndal Orr! Congratulations to the students, families, and volunteers as well!

What a journey it has been for our UIL One Act Play company of Shakespeare in Love. Our season came to an end today at regionals as Alternates to State, and while we fell just short of advancing, I could not be more proud.

This is the furthest our program has ever gone, and these students made history with their talent, dedication, and heart. They poured themselves into every rehearsal, every performance, and every moment together.

The curtain may have closed on our competition season, but the legacy they created will last for years to come.

We are one of the Top 12 3A shows in the state of Texas! So proud!!!!
