This year I had the joy to mentor two talented and driven students, using co-created research course design. These are learning opportunities that give students a great level of agency in their pleasure of learning.

The Digital Dramaturgy Lab_squared (DDL2) and the artistic research director Antje Budde have in the summer and fall of 2023 co-designed two independent research courses with their respective student co-creators: Tanja Humeniuk and Selina Jia.

Gave a talk yesterday on "Maddening. Real. World. Problems." I talk about some aspects of my lab and touch on Brecht's learning plays as an inspiration. Might be of interest for some.

Today and tomorrow I will be busy with an interesting workshop, entitled "arttech: Performance and Embodiment in Technology for Resilience and Mental Health" co-organized by Mark Chignell, Jamy Li and myself. This is the first step for our "Play Strong" project development.

In collaboration with Be-Coming Tree, a women-artist led global initiative, in a show&ell format, we are presenting artistic and performative projects exploring our relationship-making with trees at intersections of de-colonializing politics, arts and science.

This is an iterations and further development of a video live art piece I did last Summer and a glimpse of it was presented at the ECODATA festival (Curated by Rasa Smite) in Riga last October.
This year I presented at the conference: DRHA 2021. Digital Matters: Designing/Performing Agency for the Anthropocene, Berlin.
Sadly, I had to attend virtually, forever sitting in my basement. I MISS BERLIN!
The panel was moderated by Olu Taiwo.
There were exciting co-presenters: The team of Christoph Müller and Eva Jägle, and solo performer Daniel Larlham.
