ICYMI The Junction spoke at the 14th annual Taste of the Junction Multicultural Festival’s The Junction Speaks event. We honored Bishop Marion and Mother Sandra Eppright, Ruth McNerney, Mamie Underwood, and Mary Watson. A time was had last night!

TOTJ Board of Directors kicked off the Multicultural Festival Weekend at the iconic Val Air Ballroom

"The Junction Speaks" honored families and we rekindled our relationships... Curation and Preservation is more than the stories... it's preserving our relationships with our families and our friends.

Community Building at its best ...It's about preserving a community... it's about being together even if not physically because now we live all over the country east west north and south but we are still connected six seven generations later in our hearts. 💚💚💚

Last night when you looked around the room not every single family that we grew up with represented last night but it was enuf... it was truly truly a Taste of the Junction!

So honored for everyone that got on flights got in their cars and got on buses and got here to celebrate the people the culture and the cuisines....aah Taste of the Junction 💚 Yeah Baby!!!!

Tonight will be at the Nature Lodge at the Raccoon River Park 6pm

Jazzin in the Junction come out and experience the vibe...a host of wonderful local poets and musicians as we take it up another notch day two of the Multicultural Festival 💚💚💚💚
