Tallgrass Theatre Company’s Summer Concert Series returns to the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater for one last performance of Side Show on Wednesday, June 17 at 7:30 pm. This captivating musical tells the remarkable true story of conjoined twins Violet and Daisy Hilton and their rise to fame during the Great Depression. Backed by the powerful live music of the Des Moines Community Orchestra, it's a memorable evening of theater under the stars.

🚚 Food: Make it dinner and a show! Taqueria y Antojitos La Chatita will be serving delicious tacos, quesadillas, tamales and more, while The Toasted Cone will be serving premium small-batch ice cream with unique flavors! Both start serving at 6:30 pm, so come early to grab dinner and settle into a shady seat before the show begins!
🎟️ Admission: Free-will donations are gratefully accepted to support our local community arts.

Our Summer Seedlings have set the goal of 1,000 to help fundraise for their new classroom. This week two of our own donated the first $10 to that summer goal.
We continue to grow and want to provide not only new and exciting camps, but spaces that can allow for more creativity and growth.
