Every piece I make is a collaboration whether I asked for one or not. The cats have opinions. The cats will share them. The cats will sit directly on the wet paint.
This is fine. This is the process. The art is better for it probably.

Normal people: go to sleep at a reasonable hour.
Me at 2am: adding a third layer of detail to a mushroom that definitely didn't need it but now cannot be stopped.
The art that comes out of these sessions is always my favorite. Chaotic brain hours produce unhinged beautiful things.

The mushroom is smiling. Someone is describing a crime scene in my earbuds. The art is somehow better for it.

I have accepted that my whole personality is a contradiction and honestly it makes the art better.
