This is a work in progress by one of my Level 3 Advanced students. In this program, we emphasize perspective, layering, and composition, teaching students that objects in the real world are never truly flat.
By learning to highlight the dimensions of everyday objects, my students begin to weave narratives into their art. We introduce these core concepts as early as Level 1 so that by the time students reach our advanced levels, they have developed an intuitive grasp of structure and form. These foundational skills are essential for creating paintings with true visual impact.

Impasto style fall painting fully done with pallete knives. Kids did an amazing job!

At splatter, kids are taught all the different tools I use in my professional paintings. They experiment with all kinds of texture, mediums and different tools. Its creative, fun and messy 😝

So proud of the watercolor paintings that our class created today. Watercolor is one of the toughest mediums to work with and our kids nailed. Ages 6-10.

Easing back into watercolors today as we slowly we ease back into fall! This was a warecolor refresher session where kids learned about washes, layering, stamping, wet on wet and wet on dry techniques, all in just one painting.

Splatter Art Lessons for kids has started for the school year, and what a joy it is to see the kids back, doing what they love to do. We had a warm-up session today with some basics in pencil for some fall themed sketches (how are we so close to fall again?)
