“Oy Vey!” by Tom Maley and “Oy Vey!” painted by Ken Vincent—one iconic Island artist capturing the work of another in a completely different form.
Tom Maley, founder of The Field Gallery, began creating his whimsical ladies after the gallery was established. Scattered throughout the field, they have become some of the Island’s most beloved and recognizable sculptures.
Now, with many of Tom’s sculptures sold and no longer in the field, it’s especially wonderful to see Ken Vincent capturing them in paint.
