Live Theater, Concerts, Special Events, Children's Theater, Open Mic Nights, Improv Comedy, the Cafe, Raffles and so much more! Before it was a live theater, local residents may remember the Majestic Theater as a movie house. It has since been renovated and re imagined to bring live performances to the western Massachusetts, giving local performance and technical artists the opportunity to thrive.

Every season at the Majestic consists of five productions (including at least one musical) featuring top notch, professional and usually local actors. In addition to the subscription season, the summer includes children's theater, music concerts, plays, open mic nights, and improvisational comedy shows. Recently named the best place to see live theater in the Pioneer Valley in the Valley Advocate Readers' Poll, The Majestic continues to offer great theater thanks to the support and generosity of its subscribers (we currently have over 4,500!!!). Even August isn’t too early to be thinking about the holidays, especially the Majestic’s Home for the Holidays show! Majestic fans, your prayers have been answered! We’re kicking off our 29th Season with the hilarious musical comedy Nunsense, which runs September 3 – October 11. Packed with quick wit, big laughs, and enough joyful chaos to keep the Little Sisters of Hoboken praying for order, this show is selling FAST!

The Majestic continues its celebrated lineup of performers for Torch Song Tuesdays in the Majestic Café. Each scheduled Tuesday will feature a three-piece band fronted by a different extraordinary vocalist, performing blues and jazz classics along with some unexpected selections. Doors open at 6:30pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $38 per person, and are available for the following shows:

MAJESTIC MOMENTS: Johnny Guitar was the season-opening musical for our 2008-2009 season and was based on the legendary Joan Crawford cult western from the 50s. The show was a playful send-up of fifties-style acting, melodramatic romance, and rough and tumble cowboy action and featured actors Billy Clark Taylor, Myka Plunkett, Bethany Fitzgerald, Michael Morales, Walter Mantani, Joe Duda, Michael King, Steven Sands and Michael Garcia.

MAJESTIC MOMENTS: It was five years ago that we were rehearsing the opening show of our 24th season, The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On. This lighthearted musical focused on The Wonderettes, a female singing quartet, who returned to Rockville High School to throw a retirement party for a favorite teacher in 1969, then carried the storyline into the late 70s. The Wonderettes were Kaytlyn Vandeloecht, Kait Rankins, Tina Sparkle and Mollie Posnick.
