It is with great sadness that myself, bridget, Shannon & Bree share that we have lost one of our special little dancers Selena Rodriguez. I know we no longer have the studio but once a dance family always a dance family
Selena passed away suddenly on Wednesday. She was only 11 years old. Selena was a joy to have in class. She was spunky, funny, loving, and loved to dance! We loved watching her perform her solo as a tribute to the singer Selena who also passed too soon.
Selena lit up a room every time she came to the studio. And we loved her! She was also a great little sister to my sons girlfriend destiny and daughter to Tammy. Selena had a beautiful soul and will be terribly missed by so many.
Although there are no words to ease the pain we are asking for help for the family. There is a go fund me account to help with the costly funeral expenses that I have shared on my page. No parent should have to ever bury their child!
We are also asking anyone who’s child danced with Selena, if you have any pictures of her please share to this page as a tribute. I’m sharing a few now but will find more to share.
On another note, bullying played a role in Selena’s death. Please always be kind to each other and remember that words can be very harmful and fatal. Nobody knows what inner battles someone is already struggling with and a kind word can go a long way. Our prayers are with you Tammy Carlin Rodriguez and Des Rodriguez. We love you
