So, it's going to be on the warm side on Saturday, June 13, 2026 - but not too warm. Upper 80's. Low humidity. Sunny. Beautiful. (right, Bob Maxon ?)

Nice for: Swimming. Golfing. Sitting on the patio at Birdie & the Barrel . Hitting the driving range at Simsbury Farms Golf Course and Pro Shop. Relaxing. Chatting. Practicing your golf game....

After hitting the driving range, you may be hungry.
Or thirsty.
Or both.

Or, your kids want to cool off at the Simsbury Farms pool (opens at noon for season pass holders, and 1pm for general public), and then get their picture taken with the UConn Men's Basketball Husky between 3 and 4pm.

Say...you haven't tried the new restaurant yet? Big Screen TV's. A Full Bar. A Nice Patio with umbrellas and plenty of seating....one of the best restaurant views in the area. How about this (but don't wait - as supplies are limited):

You can test drive a Mitchell Auto Group vehicle - right at Simsbury Farms (11-3). You will receive your $10 Birdie & the Barrel Gift Certificate, which you can then use to offset the cost of lunch, while you listen to Mike Rau (1:30-4:30), and wait for your name to be called as a winner of one of the cool prizes that Mitchell Auto Group is giving away (you hope! BTW, one per person).

You can have one of your kids sign up for the Youth Golf Tournament at 4pm, which has prizes, and is only $5. Really.

Then use the FREE car wash certificate you got from Mitchell Auto Group for test driving their vehicle, during the week when you go back to work.

Sound like a plan? See you there. Enjoy your Saturday.
Carpe Diem.

Special thanks to:
