We had fun with Rotten Reviews go check them out and give them a follow!
We descended into the murk of Dark Hallow Creek, swallowed whole by its secluded woods and whispered warnings. What awaited was not a haunt built on spectacle, but a living nightmare carved from raw earth and fear—an old-school terror that thrives in the shadows and in the silence between heartbeats.

Haunt Name: Dark Hallow Creek
Location: 2080 Main St West Point, KY 40177
Date of Visit: November 1st, 2025
Duration – 7.5/10
Our trek through the darkened trail stretched roughly 18 minutes before we slipped past the ravenous grasp of the townsfolk lurking within. Your time may vary—especially if you dare to accept the extreme upgrade, where the residents may toy with your psyche until they decide your fate.
Level of Scare – 7/10
This is classic, old-school fear. No towering animatronics or thundering soundscapes—just the wind, the crunch of leaves beneath your feet, and the certainty that something unseen watches from the trees. A narrative slowly unfolds as you traverse the cursed town, and actors strike with startling precision, ensuring the woods never feel empty… and never forgiving.
Set Design – 6.5/10
Hand-built structures, rugged paths, and makeshift dwellings line the trail—simple, raw, and grounded in the haunt’s eerie folklore. While not lavish or tech-heavy, the setting feels personal, intimate, and undeniably unique. The story here is alive, and growth is coming with future seasons.
Character Design – 7.5/10
Residents feel disturbingly real, as though plucked straight from a forgotten town where secrets rot beneath the soil. Masks unsettle, makeup stays faithful to theme, and costuming grounds you in their world. A lighter cast during our visit was noted, yet their presence never faltered.
Interaction & Dialogue – 9/10
This is where Dark Hallow Creek truly sharpens its claws. The actors don’t simply perform—they pull you into their nightmare and demand you play along. Lines strike deep, scenes unravel around you, and reality thins as you question whether the woods will ever release you. Even classic haunt phrases felt reborn in the hands of this cast.
Customer Service – 9/10
Clear signage leads you to your doom, and friendly faces greet you before your descent. The trolley driver, Itchy, wastes no time weaving the tale and tightening the knot around your nerves. Our lone suggestion: bolder signage separating GA from Fast Pass lines to avoid confusion.
Actors – 8.5/10
Despite a smaller cast on our rainy night, the actors remained fierce, energized, and fully submerged in their characters. Their spacing was effective, though we’d love to witness the full force of the town on a packed cast night.
Beginning/Ending – 7/10
Your journey begins with a haunting trolley ride into town, grounding you in the lore before your first step takes you too deep to turn back. The conclusion—a classic finale with a brief technical hiccup—was delivered with sheer determination. Between entry and exit, you become part of their grim folklore.
Ambiance – 7.5/10
A rainy final night of the season muted some offerings, but typically expect vendors, a fire pit, and a chance to warm your bones before braving the woods—or to steady them afterward. The trolley adds an eerie charm and sets an unshakable tone.
Value – 8/10
Admission sits at $25, with experiences ranging roughly 15–25 minutes depending on your fate and courage. The extreme upgrade promises a more brutal journey—one we plan to endure next season as we narrowly avoided a bloody fate this time.
Overall Score – 7.75/10

Dark Hallow Creek is a testament to old-school fear—actor-driven, intimate, and fueled by its story. We look forward to watching this haunt evolve and expand its chilling world in seasons to come, for the woods of Dark Hallow Creek are far from finished with us.
