I picked up calligraphy because I wanted to learn how to make pretty letters.

I had NO idea I’d also accidentally find a whole community of people who would become friends, cheerleaders, collaborators, students, mentors, and fellow stationery nerds.

Some of these women are local. Some are internet friends. Some are in completely different seasons of life and have totally different styles than I do.

But we all have that same little obsession with making letters pretty. And there’s something really special about finding people who just get it.

It’s a good reminder that sometimes the best part of finding a hobby isn’t even the hobby itself.

It’s the people you find along the way.

Here’s to the calligraphy friends, near and far.
I was only able to tag 20 friends in the pictures. Others include:
Jacquelyn (Jax) | Written For Rescue
Ana Isabel Altamira
Julie Mancini
Sip & Script®
Cheyenne | Cursive, Calligraphy, Penmanship
