At Cavallino Classic Modena, we met Matthew Ivanhoe and his extraordinary 1953 Ferrari 250 MM Series I Vignale Spyder, chassis 0260 MM.
One of just 31 Ferrari 250 MMs ever produced, 0260 MM holds a remarkable place in Ferrari history. Originally intended for the 1953 Mille Miglia, it instead played a role in Ferrari’s early presence in North America before being entrusted, at Enzo Ferrari’s direction, to a young Phil Hill.
Hill soon drove it to overall victory at the Pebble Beach Road Races, marking the beginning of an exceptional story on both the racetrack and the concours field.
A rare Ferrari with an extraordinary past, told by the person who knows it best.
Meet Matthew Ivanhoe and discover the story of 0260 MM.
