Alumni Spotlight: Maire Therese Carmack is currently in her first year in the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. The rising mezzo-soprano will make her Met debut in December as Second Lady in THE MAGIC FLUTE and will sing as Kate Pinkerton in the January production of MADAMA BUTTERFLY. Congratulations to the kids enrolled in Milagro Center’s STARS Summer Camp! On August 2, they presented their very own opera, "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" For eight weeks this summer, the kids worked with members of PBO staff to adapt Dr. Suess’s beloved picture book for their performance in front of friends and family.
