🎉 Congratulations to Palm Beach Opera Resident Artist alumnus Devin Eatmon!

Tenor Devin Eatmon (AA ’23, YA ’24) has been named First Prize Winner of the International Competition for Wagner Voices in Bayreuth, a prestigious competition dedicated to identifying and supporting the next generation of leading Wagnerian singers.

Held this year in connection with the 150th anniversary of the Bayreuth Festival, the competition featured Devin performing with the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, where he sang selections from Wagner’s Parsifal and Die Walküre. His performances were praised as “powerful, dramatically expressive, and compelling.”

Since completing his time in PBO’s Resident Artist Program, he has spent two seasons with the Vienna State Opera and returns this season for performances in Salome, Parsifal, and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate this exciting milestone in Devin’s growing international career. Bravo, Devin! 👏🎶

What a weekend with Rigoletto! Secrets were whispered, hearts were broken, and revenge was plotted.

Bravo to our incredible artists who brought Verdi’s world to life, and to all of you who joined us for every aria, every gasp, every moment.

We’ll be holding onto these moments (and maybe side-eyeing any “dukes” we meet) for a while.
