I had a great time although it definitely had its ups and downs. Have you ever spent a month somewhere for yourself? I put (most) of my thoughts down in my new blog post on my website. My story has the link to make it easy. I’d love to hear. 🤗

There’s something special about building a life around the thing that makes you feel most alive.

After 50+ years of painting, creating still brings me the same curiosity, excitement, and desire to keep growing.

I’ve been lucky enough to turn that love into a lifetime of canvases, lessons, adventures, and connections with collectors around the world.

Kinda chic, if you ask me. ✨

It’s easy to spend years chasing what looks successful instead of what feels meaningful.

I’ve learned that some of life’s greatest moments happen when you slow down enough to notice them, a quiet morning in the studio, the rhythm of a paintbrush, the simple joy of creating something with your hands.

Success looks different for everyone. I hope whatever path you’re on leaves you feeling fulfilled, not just accomplished.

What does a peaceful life look like to you? 🤍

The most rewarding part of being an artist isn’t reaching a destination, it’s realizing there’s always more to learn.

After more than 50 years of painting, I chose to spend a month in Florence as a student again at the Charles C. Cecil Studios. Not because I had to, but because growth has always been part of the journey.

Every lesson, every brushstroke, and every challenge reminds me that curiosity is one of an artist’s greatest strengths.

To my fellow artists: never stop learning.

And to my collectors: thank you for supporting not only the paintings I create today, but the artist I’m still becoming. Every new experience finds its way onto the canvas.

Growth never has an expiration date. ❤️
