Hello everybody!! After 3 years of no, or small shows, we decided to put on the full show again this year. In other words, Were Back!!!
If you get a chance we are running nightly 6-10pm, now to new years eve.
Tune to FM96.1 to listen for music.
I do not have Frosty out there right now, but will be adding him to the show as soon as we can. Because we have not run for a few years, everything needs a lot of work/repair, so is taking a little longer to get running.
Hope to see ya!!!

We had our 2017 Startup Party tonight, and what a blast it was!! We had a great turnout, lots of good friends and family came over and had a great time!!
My wife Debbie did a great job putting this party together! There was plenty of good food, cookies and brownies, and surprise bags for the kids for Santa to give out!!
A special shout out to my nephew Kevin, who did a great job as Santa, carrying on the great tradition started by his Dad, Ron, who was our Santa for the first few years of our show.
Even with all the rain we got before the show, the lights came on and the show went on!!
Well the lights will be on every night till the end of the year if you get a chance to check them out!!!
Hope to see ya!!!!
Mike
2017Party
It's hard to believe, but this is our 10th year of our animated light show. First couple years the show was a lot smaller, but you know, you start with baby steps. lol The show has grown over the years to about 100,000 lights today.
We also did the animated light show, complete with Frosty, at the Yesteryear Village at the fairgrounds for 4 years. It was a lot of fun doing those shows, but a lot of work also.
As most know already, we are retiring the hartlights christmas show after this year. It has been a lot of fun, and a source of great joy for us over the years. We love seing the smiles of young children when Frosty comes out to sing and dance. We love watching carloads of young and old alike enjoying the show, and knowing that, for maybe a few minutes at least, all was right with the world, and cares were temporarily forgotton.
I will never forget an email I got from a mother of an autistic child asking when would be a good time to bring her over when there are fewer people around. I gave her my phone number and told her to come anytime you want, call me and I will open the gate and you can have the whole driveway to yourself. They came, and as she watched, she was smiling ear to ear, and squealing every time Frosty came out so sing.
I will never forget the daughter who brought her mom, who suffered from alzheimers. She told me she just loves the show and really comes alive, watching and singing along with the music.
I will never forget the the beautiful hand made card, and delicious brownies from a girl scout troop.
I will never forget the night we heard a light knocking on the front door. It was a little boy, 5 or 6 years old, had a pan of brownies in his hands. He looked up and said "My mommy made these for you, and we want to thank you for the pretty lights. We like them a lot!!"
As much as we would like to keep it going forever, time catches up with us. As I am approaching retirement, it it time to slow it down a little,
So if you get a chance, come on out, we are up and running though the end of the year.
Hope to see ya!!!!

We took a good soaking before showtime, and as expected, most of the show is not working. 2 nights in a row now. Sorry to disapoint, but not worth coming out tonight.

Well we started out good, but the rain has finally knocked out most circuits. Hopefully tomorrow night will be a little drier!!
Good News!! We are going to have a show this year after all!!
We are going to try for a dec 10 startup. My helper is back and eager to set them up, plus my arm is feeling better, not 100% but doing ok so we will give it a shot!!!
So this weekend should be a flurry of activity aroung here!!
Hope to see ya!!!!

Unfortunately, there will be no light show this year. Due to an injury, and lack of help, it is just not possible.
Check back with us next year as we hope to put on our 'Grand Finale' show, as it will probably be our last one.
Thank you for comming out and supprting us over the years,
Mike and Deb

Sorry, but no lights tonight. It pouring down rain and are totaly soaked.
Mike
Just a reminder that we do collect donations for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure foundation.
We turn in all monies at the race in Jan. every year.
My wife Debbie is a breast cancer survivor, being clean for about 10 years now. I myself last year was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and after several proceedures, was declared cancer free. I also lost my brother Ron to prostate cancer almost 2 years ago.
So as you can see, cancer research and a path to the cure means a lot to us. Collecting donations just seemed like a good way to help out in this endeaver.
And we do Appreciate and Thank everybody who stops by and donates.
Mike
Wow!!! We just past 500 LIKES!!! Never thought I would see that! Thanks everybody!! Enjoy the show!!

Weather man says the weekend will be nice and dry. Thats good news as it should be good weather for the startup this saturday.
Did a system checkout tonight, and ran a sequence to test it out. So far so good. Had some minor communication problems, but seem to have them sorted out.
Still waiting on Frosty and his new singing partner to arrive, but in the meantime we are working on expanding the stage to make more room.
Well, gotta get back to work now. Still got a ton of programming to do!!!
