As one of Palm Beach County’s top-rated Zoological experience, we are home to hundreds of animals, many of them endangered. Our mission is to inspire people to act on behalf of wildlife and the natural world. Our unique tropical zoo showcases Malayan tigers, jaguars, monkeys, panthers, all living in natural habitats. Enjoy shady paths, wildlife carousel, water play fountain, Nature Play Pavilion,

a full-service restaurant and keeper talks. We are open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, and parking is always FREE!

And just like that, our coral survey season has begun!

Between August and November each year, our zoo does a deep(ish) dive on the health of Florida’s coral reef. The information we gather is part of a larger effort known as the Disturbance Response Monitoring (DRM) program; the largest, collaborative, volunteer-based coral monitoring effort in the world, bringing together dozens of partners to monitor Florida’s Coral Reef. Each organization is responsible for keeping tabs on its own assigned portion of the coast, and together we get a much larger, clearer picture of how the reef are doing once the season is over and figures are submitted.

This time, we were joined by our friends and partners at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Welcome aboard!
