Hello,
My name is Kainen Ikaika DiCresce, I’m 18 and I’m an apprentice at Under The Surface Tattoos. I’ve been making art my whole life,
I mostly do realism portraits with charcoal, but love trying new mediums, I also love music and tend to draw my favorite musicians.
I was born and raised in Minnesota then moved to Florida in 2016,
I also have two cats.

Meet Ashley & Shawn. The power couple behind the shop.

They met back in 2015 and instantly fell in love. A few years back during Covid they both realized that they needed to work for themselves. Ashley opened up her lash studio in May 2020. It was a risk due to the economy, but Shawn felt the need to go off on his own as well. A few months later, Shawn decided to open Under the Surface Tattoos.

They each were working out of studios and they came upon this one location on Military. They decided to put their businesses together and open this beautiful tattoo shop where Ashley was still able to operate her lash business.

August of 2021, they tied the knot!!

Ashley and Shawn provide incredible customer service and are perfectionists at their craft. They continue to shine and inspire those around them. ✨

…and this is only the beginning people 😉
