My heart is broken because I have lost my dear sweet friend Sal Piro. The heart and soul of Rocky Horror Picture Show has passed on. But Sal's spirit will be with Rocky forever at every midnight showing, convention or event.

Sal was a quiet soft spoken almost shy fellow, that is until he put on his cape and hit the stage and screamed "Give me an R!". He was there at the beginning of the creation of the phenomenon..the use of costumes, call backs and everything else that propelled Rocky to be the beloved and record breaking film that it is.

I saw Sal on Thursday night and spoke to him in the following days before he passed. He had 2 questions;
We will be doing something for the 50th...won't we?
And asked if he were to go..who would watch over Rocky?
So on the 50th lets all scream.."Give me an S...Give me an A..Give me an L !" And fill the audience with as many virgins as possible so Sal will know Rocky is alive and well and being looked after.

Sal..rest in peace and love.
