Some stories deserve to be painted. 💙🐆🎨

Every inch of our cafeteria has been transformed into an immersive narrative mural that captures the magic of a Dreyfoos day... and night. Towering high above it all is our majestic jaguar, watching over a space that has become a daily masterpiece for every student, teacher, and visitor.

What makes this mural even more special is the artist behind it. Mr. Ryan Toth, our incredible drawing teacher, is also a proud Dreyfoos alumnus. As a student here, he was inspired and mentored by legendary art educator Jane Grandusky. Today, as Dreyfoos' current drawing teacher, Mr. Toth paid tribute to our school's history by incorporating Jane Grandusky's original Dreyfoos logo into the mural, which is a beautiful nod to our beginnings.

In a touching full-circle moment, the ribbon flowing through the mural leaves behind a drawing of the school itself, serving as both the beginning and the end of the story. It is a powerful reminder that while generations of artists pass through these halls, the creativity, inspiration, and legacy they leave behind continue to shape those who follow.

We can never thank Mr. Toth enough for reimagining this space and dedicating countless hours to creating something so meaningful. Because of his extraordinary vision and talent, our cafeteria is no longer just a place to eat lunch, it is a breathtaking celebration of the Dreyfoos experience that our community will enjoy every single day.

Thank you, Mr. Toth, for giving us another reason to believe in the magic of Dreyfoos. 💙✨

We want to send a huge congratulations to our very own Lisa Shields!
Mrs. Shields has been named a recipient of the prestigious 2026 Gutterman Family Outstanding Holocaust Educator Award, presented by Florida Atlantic University’s Gutterman Family Center.
This distinguished honor recognizes educators who go above and beyond to inspire empathy, combat prejudice, and keep history’s most critical lessons alive. Congratulations, Mrs Shields! We are so proud of you!

🌏 Congratulations to Pearce Boylan (Communications, Grade 10) and James Smith (Digital Arts & Photography, Grade 9) on being selected as Student Ambassadors for the Sister Cities of Delray Beach Japan Exchange Program!

As part of this opportunity, they will represent Delray Beach while preparing for a cultural exchange experience in Japan in 2027.
