With Labor Day weekend approaching, we know it’s a popular time for couples to explore wedding and event venues. While we’d love to welcome you to the Loeks Retreat Center, all tours and visits must be scheduled in advance.

Please don’t stop by unannounced; even for a quick peek! This helps us protect the privacy of our renters and guests and keeps our campers and staff safe.

This weekend is especially important: the Loeks Retreat Center is currently rented through the end of the day on Monday, September 7, so we will not be able to accommodate drop-in visits during that time.

This week's Preferred Vendor Shoutout is to StrEATs Taco Kitchen, one of our preferred vendors at the Loeks Retreat Center at Camp Blodgett! 🌮✨

Known for their globally inspired street tacos and bold, chef-driven flavors, StrEATs puts a creative twist on every bite. Their "authentically inauthentic" tacos blend street food inspiration from around the world with fresh, scratch-made ingredients and modern culinary techniques. Whether you're craving their fan-favorite Cheeseburger Taco or the Korean-inspired Seoulful taco, there's something on the menu for everyone.

We're especially grateful to the StrEATs team for their generous in-kind donation of lunch for our summer staff during training. Their support helped fuel the incredible people who make Camp Blodgett such a special place for our campers each summer.

And there's more good news! 🎉 StrEATs Taco Kitchen will be serving up their delicious tacos at our Summer Concert featuring The Langford Lads on Friday, July 24. Come enjoy an evening of live music on the shore of Lake Michigan and treat yourself to one of West Michigan's most creative food trucks.
