Congratulations to Gianmarco Soresi, winner of the inaugural Empire State Stand-Up Showdown! Gianmarco beat out a field of 72 very talented comics over 3 rounds on his way to victory, including 4 other very funny finalists; Ephraim Chase, Michael Verdi, Jason Scott and Alex Kollar. On behalf of Slaughter Stand-Up and Lucy's Laugh Lounge, we would like to thank all of the comics who competed this year, to Character's, Lucy’s and West Nyack Levity Live Comedy Club, and to everyone who came out and supported live comedy. Please join us in celebrating Gianmarco’s very impressive win, and many thanks to you for being a part of our awesome competition!
