Herons on the Bayou is so proud to live in FUNROE! We are a community filled with vibrant beautiful strong people. Even on day 378 of this snow storm and too may downed trees, light poles and damaged properties we are still bright and optimistic!

We had to dig deep all the way to our first round of herons to show you our Lineman! Isn’t he the cutest! We are so proud of all of the lineman out there working so hard FOR US!

Applying for this grant comes in two phases:
1) Spark Stage - tell us your idea and how you would use these funds to pursue that idea - deadline December 31, 2025
2) Workshop Phase - after the best ideas are selected, Brooke will work with you to flesh out your idea into a fully-fleshed out proposal - deadline March 30, 2026

What a fabulous day for another Art project brought to you by the Herons Give Back Arts Initiative!! We learned that a support grant was also given to NELA Pride for this amazing chalk competition!
