Sparrow's Nest Theater Bringing performing arts to Western Maine for over a decade! Take this rd into West Mills. The theater is on the left, shortly after a 4 way intersection.

Directions to the theater:

From Farmington- Take Rt. 43 into Industry, go past Clearwater lake, in about a mile, turn left onto Rt 148 (West Mills Rd). Yellow with a blue door. From Madison- Take Rt 148 out of Madison and through Anson. Over the river and through the woods and in about 10 minutes you'll be there! It's on the right!

The Gin Game:
Weller Martin is playing solitaire on the porch of a seedy nursing home. Enter Fonsia Dorsey, a prim, self-righteous lady. They discover they both dislike the home and enjoy gin rummy, so they begin to play and to reveal intimate details of their lives.

Auditions for the play Cheaper By the Dozen will be on March 28 and 29 from 1-3.
Cheaper By the Dozen:
Based on a true story, Cheaper by the Dozen tells the story of the Gilbreth family. Their inventor father, who is well-known for bringing better efficiency in factories, keeps his family of twelve children running just as efficiently. This play is told from the point of view of two of his children. This play has parts for everyone, young and old.

Theater Camp will be July 6-10, 13-17, 20-24 with performances on July 23, 24, 25 and 26. Brochures will be available at auditions on March 28 and 29. Enrollment will be capped at 30. If you can't make it to Sparrows Nest on the 28 or 29 call Diane to get on the list or with questions.

Things My Mother Taught Me
The play follows a young couple as they pick up their lives and move from New York to their new life in Chicago. The move into their first apartment together is not only a big step in their relationship, but helps them learn that the lessons they learned from their parents, while under appreciated and slightly annoying, are what are going to help them endure all of the challenges they will soon face. Moving day starts off badly with their brand-new chair stuck in the door and continues to go downhill. With the “unexpected” arrival of both sets of parents in their two-bedroom apartment, the missing moving van and a ruined proposal, the couple must find a way to navigate their way through this new journey that they have embarked on.
