Texas losing old BBQ joints because meat prices are too high should make everybody mad.

Not political mad.
Hungry mad.

Because BBQ was never supposed to be luxury food. It was blue-collar food. Family food. Road trip food. ā€œPull over, this place looks goodā€ food.

Now everything that used to belong to regular people is getting priced like a VIP experience.

Homes. Groceries. Gas. BBQ.

Gen X, tell the truthā€¦

Did the economy ruin BBQ, did the government fail small businesses, or did America just make everything too expensive to enjoy?
