🚨URGENT: Warming Shelter Volunteers & Leadership Needed

Another round of arctic weather is expected next week, with temperatures dropping below freezing from Tuesday night through Saturday morning.

To keep our community safe, we have dedicated the Roberta Jackson Neighborhood Center as an Emergency Warming Shelter once again.

📅 Planned Operation:
🕗 Opening: Wednesday, 2/19/25 at 8 AM
🕘 Closing: Saturday, 2/22/25 at 9 AM

‼️WE NEED AN VOLUNTEERS TO HELP LEAD THIS EFFORT‼️
Our warming shelters can only operate with volunteer partners. During our last events, Called 2 Grow and Families in Transition stepped up, but we need more organizations to help in organizing and managing for this event.

This includes:
✅ Committing to manage the shelter’s volunteer sign-up and scheduling
✅ Helping to coordinate shifts for staffing
✅ Ensuring we have enough support to keep the shelter running
